im going to try to get out to patts in March ive found a few flights around 1000. 1100 from lax-bkk on cathay there is a flight for 950 but it has a 8 hr layover. With fuel prices going down is it better to book now or later?

From my experiences, flights normally go up and up. Sounds like a good price anyway. Get it booked!

Whichever you choose you will get it wrong - I know coz Sod told me.

 

Find a flight at a price you like and book it no point worrying later. Nothing lkike having a flight booked to lift the spirits
