Studio smile

Recommended Posts

Hey all, been lurking here for a couple weeks as I'm passing through Pattaya briefly soon, lots of great info here, BG's and otherwise. Question - I need a dental cleaning and cavity check, as I think I might have a cavity so I thought I would get it done here. I saw Studio Smile mentioned favorably a few times so emailed them and booked an appt for Monday, and was quoted a price of 1200 for a cleaning/check, plus 700 for Panorama x-Rays. This seems a lot higher than I've seen in other threads- am I getting quoted high here, should I go somewhere else? Has anyone been and think that the care/equipment there is worth it?

I've been paying 600B for checkup and cleaning at Dental Paragon on Pattaya Klang. I've also used them for fillings, tooth extraction and a root canal.

I see on their site they advertise the Panoramic X-ray at 400B, so it appears Studio Smile is quite a bit higher in price.

FYI for anyone else- I ended up going to Dentist@Beach in Central Festival. Very clean, very nice equipment, and great staff. Walked in without an appointment, got a cleaning and 4 white fillings/cavities, for 3800 baht and walked out an hour later.
