Second visit stay options

Second trip to pattaya and looking for opinion on where to stay. Last time I stayed at penthouse for 2 days in suite (not really worth it too weird, and sort of too weird) and Serenotel which was great location but to small and noisy.

I'm not sure if I should book straight through at somewhere like LK empress or a few days there and look for a guest house. As I travel with computer I need for work security is priority.

I think your bar is sister bar to Windmill right? If so my Lt bar fine last time works there :)

last time I hit lots of Gogos but sort of missed Soi 6 and the clubs. Just didn't know they were there and neither did my wingman. Instead of hitting Insomnia I would shop Gogos late (note bad idea)

This time solo will stop by BM bars to get a better rounded experience.

I went down Soi 6 at around 2-3pm but seemed dead. Was I too early? (It was August)...

As I will likely want to hit Gogos and clubs more than Soi 6 prefer to stay that end. Any thoughts?

Sandy Spring on Soi 13 seems popular with Americans and I've stayed there myself a few times. I think it's difficult to beat the location and the bY views from 5th floor up are very good.

Apparently they do a discount card, they never advertised it to me, and a decent saving can be had on their daily rates.

My Pattaya budget is perfectly adequate as long as I don't spend any of it

I looked at Walking Street guest house I wasn't sure of wifi access and potential for safety... Since I have to work online I like to have the ability to eat in and work confirtably

South end hotels

Nova Platinum, an easy 5 min stroll to or from Walking Street and a pretty good hotel.  The deluxe rooms in the rear building are newer an better.

Honey Lodge (not honey inn) on Pattaya Tai (south road) is pretty much at Walking Street. Small rooms, very quiet considering busy location

Sunxclusive is worth a look.  Rooftop pool. opposite Nova Platinum
