Gym close to Soi 8?

G'day fellas,

 

Staying in soi8 over xmas/new year....

I usually go to Tonys 3rd rd but its a fair hike from soi 8....

Can anyone advise of a good gym within walking distance of soi 8?

There is Tony's on 3rd road and Diana ?. Cost is 200 bht a day. California WOW is on 2nd road and about Soi 13. It's in the new complex ground floor. You have to wheel and deal to get a good price but is worth it. California is new and has eye candy for motivation.

get your self down Soi 6, no need to go to the gym then

Hi Bib,

I am a member at california gym and it is very good. The equipment is very good and varied with free weights as well as machines. They also have a boxing ring and do classes.

Joining this gym will depend on how long you are going to use it for.

For a 1 month membership it will probably set you back approx 3,000 baht.

You may be better off, costwise, going for a pay as you go gym.

Agreed, this is the on I used on my ten day trip. Great selection of machines and a boxing ring to match.

 

I went a few rounds with some Thais and showed them whos boss, before taking out of the trainers in a mat wrestling competition.

If your willing to haggle and quote prices elsewhere, you can get LTM at WOW for about 10,000 baht
