Renewing car and motorbike license,residency letter

If renewing both at the same time do I need 2 residency letters from immigration and thus 2 of photocopies etc ,1 for each license?

normally by law they are free but that's just theoretically !

300 baht for one and 500 baht for two

for two you need 3 photos, one for your application and one for each of the resident letters

Anyone know, if you are renewing an existing five year licence can you get a residency letter on a 30 day entry or a tourist visa? Had a non o when I got it.
