Has anyone crossed into Thailand at Myawaddy-Mae Sot, and did you get a stamp for 60 days?

I'm currently in Myanmar and would like to cross there if possible, but only if they grant 60 days instead of 30.

(I'm a UK citizen and so far have always been given 60 days when entering by air at Suvarnabhumi)

Forgive me if this is already discussed elsewhere... I've searched and found nothing.

By the way, I obtained a 3x multiple entry tourist visa in London before flying to Asia.

I once 'renewed' a multiple entry non-immigrant visa that that border crossing but it was a long time ago. I seem to recall the Thai immigration office being about 500 m down the road and having to go there for some reason. Hopefully somebody else will have more recent information.
