How To Fly To Sakon Nakhon?

Hey guys.

Need some information on how to get to Sakon Nakhon. Have tried numerous searches on travel websites on flying into Sakon Nakhon airport, but no info available. Is it possible to fly there? Or do you have to take a bus? Any info appreciated.

There's 2 flights a day from Bangkok. Around 6am and 6pm,with PB Air. Flights from Suvarnabhumi.The price is around 3000 bath.

U can also take the train Bangkok - Udon and after bus or taxi.

My LT Thai girl was from Nokan Panom and when I didnt drive up there I would fly to Sakon Nakhon and friends would meet me at this little airport. Its a lovely flight on PB Air and fantastic views and scenery on the downward descent.

Flights are much cheaper and more frequent to Udon than Sakon Nakhon.

 

Some locations in Sakon Nakhon are just as close to Udon as they are to Sakon Nakhon City so suggest you see if you can locate the village on a map and see how far it's from Udon Thani.
