Linux Ubuntu / Linux Mint users ?

I am just wondering, how many PA members are using Linux... I have Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (main computer) and Linux Mint 17 (laptop). I have been using Linux, since Windows stopped updateing XP.

 

I do not miss Windows anymore. For internet surfing, emails, photo editing...Linux is good for me.

Ubuntu Linux on desktops and servers, and some client desktops and laptops. Works well to keep old hardware going beyond their time.

I like the Gnome desktop so for me its Mint. Sure Linux is a bit of a learning curve but the OS and apps are free and its so easy to install and configure now.

 

With all the bad press coming out about Win10 Linux offers an alternative for pretty much all typical users.

I use linux lite https://www.linuxliteos.com/index.htmlbased on ubuntu. Easy move from xp. My 10 yo laptop zips along. Nice forum people too

I've been using for years - mainly on older hardware.  Run into some issues with Dell laptops, Google is your friend and most issues can be resolved.

No more Window$. Started with Lubuntu now use Ubuntu.
