Travel Plans as follows:

Arrive in Thailand and stay for 2 weeks

Fly to Hong Kong and stay for 1 week

Fly back to Thailand and stay for 1 week

Fly to Cambodia and stay for 10 days or so

Overland to into Thailand from Cambodia (Koh Kong / Had Lek Border)

Want to stay in Thailand for 3 weeks before flying to UK

I have UK passport.

Anyone have experience of this ?

Will I get 15 days or 30 days when arriving from Cambodia ?

I have done various searches for this info, but I am getting different answers.

If I only get the 15 days, I guess I would have to extend at immigration which I really wanted to avoid. What's the procedure for this ?

This is not a border or visa run.

Thanks in advance.

I went by land into Burma & walked back over the border one day in January & only got 2 weeks on my Irish passport. The sign said British passports got 4 weeks (but my British passport was still in Britain).

Edit; when I say 4 weeks I think it was in fact 30 days

Pattaya is like enjoying yourself -it's not for everyone.

As the UK is a G7 country you should get 30 days at a land crossing.

You should get 30 days as a UK resident . Make sure you check the stamp in your passport coming

in through Had Lek (and don't fall for all the scams going through that border crossing) .
