Pattaya Floating Market

Hi,

Any recommendations on a taxi service to take me to the Pattaya Floating Market. The trip would originate near Soi 13 and Beach Road.

I checked with Mr. T but he does not provide service to the Pattaya Floating Market. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If you can not found the taxi on BR what you can found then.

Taxis gonna rip of you as floating market too.

On the meter it would cost about 100b, but no meters on in Pattaya.

I guess, they try it about 400b.

200b for the floating market if you do not have Thai DL.

Have to pay for when you go shopping, wierd system!

It is IMHO not worth the effort. For a start it is not a lake but a large hole in ground with dark brown shitty water. The "attractions" are basically over priced market stalls selling trinkets. It is a set up for the coach parties. Not really worth spending 10 baht to get there.

No longer free with Thai licence for Farang. 200 baht, go to office and get VIP card. Never pay again .

Now we have a kind of "Uber" service in Pattaya: http://grabtaxi.com

215 bahts for soi 13 => floating market

(still 2 or 3X more expensive than the taxi meters in BKK)

I agree as I do not believe that it is worth the time to get there let alone the entrance fee. Basically it is a shopping area and nothing more.
