Hotels v. Apartment - what do you prefer?

I've done a lot of travelling through Asia and have stayed at many swanky over priced hotels. About 1 year ago I started using the AirBnB app to book apartments to stay in and haven't looked back. I find renting a middle of the range apartment on AirBnB is a lot more personal and private. There is no front desk walk of shame, and apartments with kitchen facilities are great to get the girls cooking the next morning before you kick them out.

 

What do you guys think, and who do you book through?

 

Are there any apps or websites anyone can suggest?

even im going thru some airbnb pages and some deals are tempting . hopefully the pics shown there are same as the rooms in real.

Booked Airbnb ,this time for 5 weeks in middle January coming. Looking forward to trying out new apartment, pool gym jacuzzi etc

Might even have a quiet week instead of holiday mode all the time, to get a tiny feel of what living in Pattaya is like . But then again hate to waste TGT Thai girl time .

Booking was easy and straightforward a bit cheaper than a mid range hotel . Will let you know my thoughts on return .
