Dusit D2 Pattaya

The Dusit group of hotels has a new division called D2.

Pattaya D2 will open on second road late in 2008 or early 2009.

It is located near the Avenue mall and not far from the Royal Garden Plaza Shopping Arcade.

Looks a nice addition to the hotels in Thailand & Pattaya.

You can post pics on first level just not naked ones, secondly is the joiner fee 1000baht like the parent hotel.

I do not know about Joiner fees.

If you book a double room you should not have to pay for a second person.

What is so special about it anyway?

I have got the impression there opened a lot of so-called premium hotels recently.

Isn't there a Hilton to be built at central festival center as well?

I popped my head in while over in December, gorgeous hotel. I don't think you will get this for under 5000 a night though.

Phoned them today and they said no joiner fee if you book a double room!

 

None of this nonesense about having to register the girl when you check in either....

i can confirm no Joiner Charge

 

i visited the hotel and look the room and the lounge on the top....

 

rooms very nice...big shower for up to 4 persons lol

 

offer about 4500 for the room...

nice staff

great stylish swimming pool

 

all in all a more than hip and cool place to stay..

 

the club is also nice with great view on lol on 2nd road...

 

for few days if money is not a big issue why not....

I stayed a few days days at the hotel and I confirm that there is no joiner fee.

The rooms are very modern, the staff very friendly and the view from the bar on the roof fantastic.

We have a saying here that something is worth what a fool will pay for it.

When I stayed there, there was a "pay 2 nights and get a third one free" promotion.

I think the rate at that time was a little bit over 4000 bath/night making it 3000 bath/night thanks to the promotion. I actualy stayed on the executive floor at 7000 THB including taxes (= 5000THB/night).

In April there is a special Songkran price for stays of two nights.

 

I liked the hotel so I will be staying there again for a few days mid april.

Can you tell us about your experiences taking girls in? Possible to take in more than one at a time?

They require the guest to leave her ID card at the desk.

I always brought the same girl back so I don't know what happens when the girls leaves unaccompanied.

 

The only place I have ever had more than one girl in my room was at the Marriott in the afternoon.

All 3 were friends not BG but the hotel staff could not know that.

I will ask when I'm there next week.
