Decent Khao Soi

With all the food courts, food carts etc etc, I have found it almost impossible to find  Khao Soi, never mind, real tasty bowls. Finally found a little place on Third Road next to New York Pizza. but it was awful, even after a second try.

Anyone have any recommendations? I realize it is more a Northern Thailand dish, but there have to be a few places in town that serve it.. They are r-doing the Group of food stalls on Soi Bhuakow and I went there yesterday but still no luck!

Not sure what khao soi is, but if I find someone making a good one, will let ya know!

For those not familiar with Khao Soi. It's extremely popular up north in Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai. It's utterly delicious and something I look out whenever I'm in Thailand. I've never seen it in Thai restaurants outside LOS.
