Boot a PC from your Android phone.

Seems you can mount an ISO stored on your phone with DroidDrive and as boot media and USB boot a PC. Nice way to get around PC problems and saves carrying a thumb drive with you.

 

Interesting concept. You could load TAILS and boot any Internet shop PC off a secure Linux Distro.

Sometimes it's handy or necessary to boot a computer from a device other than the internal hard drive: Computer won't boot, malware removal, etc. Booting the Linux operating system from a DVD or thumb drive is a typical way to do this. Apparently a cell phone attached to the computer USB jack joins the list of bootable devices. Useful to know.

Sorry Duke should of made it easier to understand. As CP says it allows you to make your phone into a bootable USB stick. For most totally worthless but for the IT techs here something that can be utilised. You dont always have a boot USB you do always have your phone.

 

As I say it really was a niche post.
