How can i get more days in my passport? Need advice!

Hey!

My passport runs out on June 8, how can I get 6 months more?
Have been in Thailand 60 days 8 june and the plan is and be here 6 months more

Visited the Norwegian embassy and they didnt know how i could fix 6 more months, they asked me to search on the internet.

So how is the process to get more stay in Thailand?

I live in Bangkok.

If you have been here 60 days .. you can get this extended for another 30 days at a Thai immigration office .. 

cost 1900 baht

I am in Jomtien .. so that is where I go .. I do not know where there is one in BKK .. 

 

You need to go to Laos and get another Visa

(if you want 6 months more) get a dual entry tourist visa 

 

Just do a Google search for Laos Visa Run Bangkok .. 

 

there are LOTS of places that can explain all this for you .. 

probably cost about 8000 baht .. and takes a day .. 

The same place can also tell you where to go to get it extended for 30 more days

Haha, because you say in your original post that your passport is expiring. 

 

You will have to go to Laos to visit the embassy, it will cost around 7,900 baht I believe and you can book at Queen Vic, Soi 6. This visa will give you 60 days double entry. Meaning, 60 days, extend another 30 at immigration, then you will have to go to Cambodia, get 60 days more plus 30.

 

I see they are still using the Dao Kham hotel, this is not girl friendly but when I came back with a girl the recepionists were sleeping so i told the girl to wait in the elevator and then I woke them up to get the key

They will take you to Laos, to the embassy and includes a hotel.

 

PS. You can find some nice freelancers at a bar called Bor Pen Young but remember P4P is illegal in Laos and only some hotels will let them in.

 

You might also get someone at Immigration extend it for you, but not sure if they will do it anymore or if you know the right people.

Do what I did: go to your embassy and order up a new passport. Bam. Done.

 

Oh, and by the way, some countries allow extra pages in the passport when you order it. But, you have to request and pay for the 100-page model, for example.
