Any good Russian Ukrainian joints in Patts, Im keen to try some dishes on my next visit..

Don't bother - Russian / Ukrainian food is crap.

Beetroot soup is the peak of their gastronomy!

I think this place is decent.

Russian and also Uzbek cooking. 

Yes I have eaten there.

Good quality but as it's a bit pricey but if you want that kind of food, you could do much worse.

There are tons of places with basic things like pelmeni but I think most just buy it frozen and boil it. 

I wouldn't bother asking most Russians on the street.

Generally they don't impress me as gourmets.
