Pat pet gop (where can I get frog?)

I use to eat pat pet gop (frog with veg and chilis) and gop toht (deep fried frog with garlic) all the time in a food place near the top of soi 7. I never knew the name: something seafood? Don't think it had an English sign outside. Chinese only maybe? Turn left at soi 7/second rd and it's on that block. You can't miss it - open fronted, glass tanks with various sea food in them and early evening lots of people of Chinese descent.

Used this place for years. They used to have a "tomboy" waitress. She's rush up as soon as she saw me with her drinks trolley and a large, cold bottle of Tiger. She always remembered. I always ate pat pet gop and it became an in-joke: why didn't I eat something else? They were very efficient.

In December I went there - my first trip for 3 years - and she'd gone. The place had gone downhill. Poor service, lesser quality more expensive food, I won't catalog it but one waiter was licking the pussy on a photo of a glamour model in a magazine. In full view of the customers. Never saw any Chinese in there either.

So, although I will try there again in October, does anyone know any other places selling frog? I don't want fancy places with fancy prices. Just a medium priced Thai run restaurant of the open fronted sort (perhaps catering to Chinese?).
