Best hotel with pool in the 1500-2000 baht range

Hey guys, which hotel in the 1500-2000 baht (high season) range would you recommend? Things that are a must: centrally located (no jomtien), and a nice pool. I've stayed at Tim's boutique hotel in the past and loved it, but their price during high season is out of my range.

My choices would be either Areca Lodge (Soi Diana) or Eastiny Soi 7. Good luck.

Green park resort has totally awesome pool. Rooms are like upgraded Sunshine (with in-room safe and good water pressure bath).

Still kinda overpriced imo. Located at the start of Naklua near Dolphin.

Areca Lodge would be ideal for you for location, pool and excellent value for money rooms.

 

but hurry up and book up as most hotels will fill up pretty quick for high season.

Pattaya Bay resort or residence gardens?

I just moved out of LK Renaisance after 3 weeks at 1500bt and 1800bt (larger room) and I think will be hard to beat for Value/newness etc-very nice pool also

LK renaisance is a nice pool mate but too small, more like a dip pool than a swimming pool.....................lol.

What about about the one losever posted .....the lek or something a new place, he did a report on it and it looked to have a nice pool.

I've stayed at the Dynasty Inn right across from the LEK previously and it always looked pretty nice with a big pool. I will check that and the Areca Lodge out. The pattaya bay resort is pretty nice also, but I've read quite a few posts that the walls are thin. I'm no Anaconda Maverick, but I dont want the whole hotel to hear what's going on in my room!!

If you want Areca check the Hotels Link in the Addicts toolbar. That has Areca at 1050 a night whcih is the chapest on the net fr that hotel. Their own website is 1200.

 

Otherwise checkout Pattaya Bay Resort - many BMs stay there and because its central its ideal for all locations i.e. the 6 daytime and WS etc at night

Theres NO privicy while using the pool at the Lek as it is situated by the outdoor resturant

 

so NO rumpy-pumpy in the Lek pool ....

Pattaya Bay Resort. Stayed there in June and staying again in September. 1000 bht a night low season. Pool. Wifi throughout. Decent restaurant. Breakfast for two included in price.

 

As far as the Lek hotel, in June, they were jack hammering parts of the parking lot. I'd steer clear unless someone can verify that the construction has been completed. It didn't look like major construction, but it was noisy as hell and started early.

i've stayed at the Lek hotel on soi 13 back in 2005, and thought the hotel was very average. rooms were a little tiered, the room was a good size but the carpet was badly faded, the curtain across the balcony sliding door ripped, lamp shade stuck together with tape etc.

The bedding, towels etc where clean but parts of the room could have been a bit cleaner.

 

I wouldn't stay here again personally but if your on a budget and want a decent pool and a good location, then this place would be ideal for you.

Best hotel with pool in that price range is the Areca hotel by far; Pattaya Bay Resort pool is far smaller

Try Sunshine Vista on Soi 3. Nice rooftop pool area. Good clean hotel.

i stayed in this green park hotel...all is ok here!!! god pool...god room god eat god all...BUT...if you want to come inside whit your thai girl friend, you must pay TOOOOO MUCH !!!

I found J&P court on soi Lengkee to be very good value, had a very large room with view on the (nice) pool for 900 baht.

Try the Harley Bar/Eden Resort.
