Well the deed is done but not the VW.Picked up a 2004 Honda civic today.I talked to the VW owner real nice guy but unfortunetly he's in SaKaeo about 250 km from Pattaya

Looked like a good buy to me 250 km would not be a show stopper for me for the right car. with a lot of work done (with receipts).

 

Best of luck with the Honda not a car in the same ball park IMO.
