Looking for tips around VT6 Area

Recommended Posts

I am staying for the first time at VT6 soon and want to know if anyone has any great secret places to eat breakfast/lunch/dinner. I know Central Festival is right next door but just want to know if this is the best place around this area.

Thanks in advance.

So many choices. If you're after falang food you're pretty close to Soi 7 with Pig and Whistle & Rosie O'Grady's.

A further walk up 2nd road to Pattaya Klang intersection and hang a right and you have Leng Kee Restaurant and on the other side of the road is a Thai 'food court' with a collection of restaurants that offers good food and cheap prices.

A short walk down 2nd road towards Soi 13, across the road and up Soi Diana and you have Robins Nest and also The Irish Rovers/ Billabong in LK Metro, good for falang brekkies. The Golf Club also worth a mention. At the entrance to Soi Diana you'll also pass Kiss Food which is always busy. Many good quality eateries in the little side alley after Kiss Food for good steaks.

Best tip is the LK Empress breakfast buffet.

Just a short walk or even shorter baht bus ride down Beach Rd to Soi 12.

Great location, consistently great quality food at a price roughly equal to McDonald's.

A variety of places next door to VT6 in Central Festival mall are decent - you can search for reviews on this board.

Other general tip is that TGs prefer Thai food.  Most have zero interest in you exposing them to new farang food - even expensive high quality stuff.  So if you're with a girl you'll want to choose a place that also serves Thai food or else you may have a petulant, pouty princess on your hands the rest of the evening.

Sailor Bar on Soi 8 has 60 baht breakfast. Food court in basement of CentralFestival for cheap eats. Casa Pascal opposite Marriott has the best breakfast in town for about 200 baht.

Kiss Food for good steaks.

Imagine if that were true.

There's also a little food court in mikes mall opposite kiss food. Much much quieter than central festival.

Way to many places and options to mention. Just get out and enjoy. So many people have different tastes you never know. As mentioned you see kiss food busy all the time and I have no idea why as its crap to me.
