Hello.

 

Once a girl has been granted a tourist visa to Australia, how long is it valid for before she has to leave Thailand. She had plan to leave right away but something has happen at my end with the X wife and I may have to postpone the gf trip. I had a feeling it had to be used within 3 month?

Doesn't it say "Must enter before ..." ? It also might depend on the length of her stay. Is it for 12 months or shorter?

We where going to apply for a 3 month tourist visa this week. Alot on our application stated time frames. Early March. Now the X has said she will be visiting fron Thailand in March I can't have them both in the house. So I am wondering if the new gf still applies this week, would she have to use it within a certain time frame. I really cant be bothered filling in forms again.

There are different classes of tourist visas - you need to check which one you have. If it is just the normal short one 3 months is max but you can apply to extend it.

It will have a last date to enter on it. If it's a tourist usually you'll have 3 months to enter before it gets activated so to speak

We applied for tourist visa for the wifes sister on 2 October 2014 and it was granted 10 October.... Must arrive by 10 January.

 

Pain in the A putting it in early because the plan was for her to come in Feb go back May as airfares way cheaper.
