Police Just reminded everybody that Friday 14th is a Budha Holy day. They say serious fines for any establishment selling alcohol that day!

Not sure what Buddha Holiday you are referring to.  Thai calendar does not list any in February.  Police have not been around and nobody is talking about one.

What have you been drinking Chris !!!  LAST YEAR (2014 or 2557) is was on Feb 14 (a Friday) and it was a Buddha holiday and alcohol sales were banned.  This year (2015 or 2558) Friday is Feb 13 not 14 and the third lunar full moon is early next month.  I think you have just woken and found a one year old police note.
