Who can give a correct answer ??? :SteamingMad: It's always just about the view. My opinion is to risk and make a valid visa. I would not rely on payment of a fee for each day over 30 days. It's not worth the thorn in the ass and possible deportation or detention and other expenses missed a return flight, if you want.

Always a risk that you may be turned away before you get on a plane to LOS. For Visa exempt entry you should be able to prove onward ticket.

in theory yes.

but he deffo get a 7 day one which is all he would need.

there are reports of the 30 day ext being costed at 3,000 bht for a visa exemption on arrival stamped passport.

Which is cheaper than 1900 baht. So no brainer.
