The newsstand across from Sutus Court on Soi Buakhao has a nice selection of Thai language books, in addition to the ususual newspapers, maps etc. The girl stocks phrase books & dictionaries in at least eight European languages (Dutch, German, French, Danish, Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish, Russian). There is also a larger textbook, with or without cd:s. This is a praiseworthy initiative that should be supported imo.
