Exchange rates on the ground in Patong Phuket

HI Guys,

 

I wonder if any of you know the current exchange rate for the UK £ in Patong? Also whether any of you had any recommendations as to which money changer normally gives the best rates in Patong either along the beach or near Bangla Road?

Currently about 51.5 Baht to the pound. Can't really make any recommendation for money changers. They are all fairly close, and I guess it changes who offers the best rate at any time. Just walk around and check a few. Banks are OK too; most booths are operated by banks anyway.

 

Unless you are changing large amounts of money, it is hardly worth bothering about for the typical two week millionaire. Just set your budget and enjoy your holiday.
