charges on bank card in los

hi guys, this is for the brits on the forum.i was wondering if anyone knew of any banks in the uk that dont charge you for using your card in los.on my last visit to patts i was unaware of the situation and ended up getting charged around £200gbp and was a little miffed to say the least!cheers in advance

i was there for seven weeks drawin out small amounts thats how i racked it up fella,itwas yorkshire bank.thanks for tha advice though ill check out nationwide!

Nationwide also gives you free travellers cheques with a chrge free buy back option. Never needed the buy back, normally run out and hit the card LOL

thats good to know as some countries i will be visiting will not have atms so good to know ,are sure about this though .

Nationwide seems to be the best bet,every time my wife goes back to LOS she goes to ATM abot every 10 mins and draws about £3.00 each time,usually with a charge of about £2.50 each time,It is like talking to a brick wall.
