non immigrant o visa from savannakhet

Hi all, im sure there has been many threads on this subject but i guess it doesnt  do any harm to tell you bout my latest trip. i got to the friendship bridge in mukkdahan on monday afternoon [20th], i was the only falang there , arrived in laos 15 mins later, admittedly helped by the fact i stayed at savan vegas and they take you across in minibus. At the consulate next morning, again very quite only about 20 guys there. I handed in my form,  2 photos, photcopy of passport, marriage certifcates, originals and copies, my daughters birth certificate, and copies of wifes id card and tabien barn, signed and dated. No financial proof rerquired. Picked up passport with visa at 3 oclock, same day. All sorted for next 15 months ! On a side note as i said, i stayed at Savan Vegas , certainly not 5 star as advertised but very acceptable and good casino if you can afford a littlt gamble.

From 1st February getting back passport with visa on next day only.
