A Few Days at the Hua Hin Hilton

Recommended Posts

I hadn't been to Hua Hin for 10 years so thought I'd check it out for a few days.  Caught the 8:05 AM Diesel Rail Car from Bangkok's Hualamphong Station for a very relaxing 4 hour ride, even had a meal delivered to my seat.  Double the minibus fare but much more comfortable.

Stayed at the Hilton.

I particularly enjoyed the large pool

Water slide for the kids and a swim-up bar

DSC_7543.jpg

A bunch of bars within a few blocks of the hotel with friendly ladies

DSC_7435.jpgDSC_7380.jpgDSC_7370.jpg

Another concentration of bars around Soi 80, but not many customers

DSC_7521.jpgDSC_7520.jpgDSC_7507.jpg

Lots of seaside seafood restaurants

DSC_7335.jpg

I ate at a french place called Le Bistro.  Service and presentation were great but food was mediocre.

The night market didn't seem to have much

The Centera looked very nice with colonial style, but pool couldn't match the Hilton.

Unless I take up golf, it will probably be another 10 years before I'm back to Hua Hin

What was the quality like of the girls in the bars? Ive read that there's lots of freelancers in the Hilton at night?

Next trip i've got 7 days in Hua Hin because my mates getting married, hopefully the girls are decent enough.

There are no chicks with dicks, only guys with tits  :D

Nice pix. Thanks for posting. I've been meaning to try Hua Hin, but haven't made it there, yet. Maybe next trip.

Girls were lonely, more bars than customers. Variable quality, a few gems. A week sounds a long time to spend in HH, unless you golf.

What is the quality of the girls in the Pattaya bars

There are two discos - one free entrance and one with CC - plus many karaoke bars where you can find freelancers or even regular girls.

I spent 2 nights on my own in Hua Hin in Feb 2013...Very quiet place, can get boring if you stay too long there, good for old people..I had a very good time with that girl from Bkk in 1 of the small bars...She's a saleswoman in Khao San Road and came for the week-end to Hua Hin...20130211_024858.jpg

I had a stay in Hua Hin Hilton with family - the disco seems was buzzing with fls as well, but there were too many family tourists from European countries so the pool area was over filled, so were the lifts. I nice hotel in a prime locason- but too crowded at the time.

There is a bar with access from the outside of Hiltion premmisses, towards the beach, which you can access from HH pool area also via stairs. I saw FLs there when I walked about checking the area out - I was waived over but declined, family at pool area

I have also been chatted up in Tesco and in Market village day time, by ladies who work in local bars evening. Observing and erradiating the universial language of male - female interest you can get laid in Hua Hin. But yes, think of something to do daytime - beach, golf, surfing (there is s school), diving, visitin the local wine yard, etc

Nice place I did a double take once when i saw a lolitas there….had a bad blowie there…the 'disco' in Hilton gets pretty busy and the karaoke bars next door were a hoot…lack of quality hos though…a BYO situation might be better.

Price discussions are killing my mood and my illusions.

Did you get a "what to do guide". Seems like you just went there to monger. There is tonnes to do! You know it has 2 massive water parks, elephant village, kite surfing and loads of other stuff right? Not to mention the new, big market village mall with a cinema etc. Go a little more down south and you can snorkel and some really nice smaller secluded beaches 20 minutes away from the centre.

If you just go to a place to get laid stick to Bangkok and Pattaya  :hello09:

I went for 3 days, not for mongering but to check the place out when I was looking for a place to live.

Great pics, does look quiet in them,

That is the tourist night market, bigger and better one is across the main road on the way to station.

Lot of good bars and restaurants there also.

Nice pics and report :GoldenSmile1:

I like Hua Hin and a few days in Cha-Am a 30 min mini bus ride away..

Nice small bar scene there and OK beach.. I am from australia  :WinkGrin1:  ..

I stay in the Sofia Hotel  on Poon Suk Road short stroll to the bars ..

I paid 600 for AC off season few years ago.. its in Agoda.. If your staying more then 5 days u can rock up and may get you discount..

The Tourist night market is good with large open eating area..

BUT I use the Thai food market  night and day .. just leave the tourist Night Market cross the Highway stand in front of the Wat looking at it and turn left and walk up to a 7/11 Shop and the action is around there.. fun..

Enjoy

I went for the jazz festival.  It's difficult to find good live music in Thailand, except for jazz.  There were two stages.  A small stage for local acts.

The Jazz Festival is excellent, and free!  It happens in May, well worth the trip.  Otherwise, I'd give Hua Hin a pass.
