2 Month Thai Visa from Phnom Penh?

Hi, I'm in Cambodia. Used to be, you could get a 2 month Thai Visa, no sweat, here.

 

I would like to get a 2 month Thai visa in Phnom Penh, get the bus to Pattaya, extend it to 3 months there, come back to Cambodia, and repeat.

 

Now, it seems this is problematic, i.e.

 

1. Got to have an outbound ticket from Thailand before obtaining the visa? But I want to stay the full 90 days, and how can I do that when I don't know exactly when I'll get my Thai entry visa?

 

2. Is it true that, when entering by bus, you only get a 15 day visa?

 

3. Is it true that a '3 month visa' is, in fact, 90 days?

use any agent and u'll have no trouble

there is no 3 month visa unless ur referring to a non immigrant visa

 

tourist visa is 60 days

extend in country for 1,900 for aotherr 30 days

Better to make in Laos, IMHO. You have to wait 2-3 days in PP... Or pay 20 dollars to police helpers for "next day" visa.

try an get a 1 year no b visa or a 1 year o visa.

 

they wont issue it to you

 

they will tell you that your should apply for an extension in-country

 

I know, cause i have contacted them about this

Some of my friend made  it but it was 2 years ago. I took only tourist visas 4 or 5 times, sorry.
