Just booked myself into the Liquid Lounge for 47 nights during Oct-Nov, one of their medium sized rooms, only 23,000 bht. The place looks great and I'm chuffed to bits with the price!

 

Has anyone stayed there recently and how did you find it? Bloody good I hope!!

Hi, Yes I stay there in Mai for a mounth, it was a create time ( although construction works from Stero to Liquide Lounge) and my next time you can see on my counter, I stay again for one mounth in a large room.

Eddie, here a short review of my stay at Liquid Lounge a few weeks back, which I posted on another thread:

 

"I stayed there a couple of weeks back & it was all good. I used to stay there when it was the Stereo Bar, under the ownership of Andy & Keith, & the same relaxed setting of the rooms is still there. By that I mean that the maid won't interrupt you 'til late in the afternoon to clean your room, which was my case as I wasn't actually getting to sleep 'til the latter hours of the morning.

 

The new owners; Danny & Lee are diamond blokes as well & will offer reasonable assistance if you need it. I'm going back to Pats in October & Christmas/New Year & I've already booked to stay back at Liquid lounge."

Ha ha - you're welcomed. Thanks for the offer of the beers, seeya in October.

 

Oh, I forgot to mention that some of the girls at Liquid Lounge are quite tasty & they all have great attitudes. I didn't take any upstairs though, as I didn't want the potential of any problems with girls from other bars. I might change my mind this time though!

Not really 'cause the bars around normally close at 2am or shortly after.

 

If you mean do the occupants of the rooms themselves get noisy, then I'd still say 'no' 'cause the walls are quite solid.

Any contact info on this place please as cant seem to find a website. Whats the situation with the rooms. By that I mean do you have to walk through the bar to get to them or is there a side reception?

Ahh, Bryan this is the old Stereo bar? Yes, know this place. Next to the LK Metropole. Good place, not bad.

No you don't need to go through the bar, there is a side entrance which is behind a burger stall. This door is always locked but you'll be given a key to it.

I couldn't tell you how small is the small room is 'cause I've never stayed or seen one. I don't reckon it will be as small as a box room 'cause the Medium rooms themselves are quite big. Also it will definately have a shower.

The small room ( Room3) is Ok ( big enough ) and is located to the front side of the building.

Just stayed there for a couple of days (Room 6, medium sized) and have to say that its a very good place with clean rooms and comfy beds. Very good value for money!!

Just wanted to share my experience when staying at "Stereo". I was there in Feb/March for two weeks, this of course was back when Andy and Keith were the owners. At the point in time they only had the small room available so that is where I stayed. Even for a "small" room the size is nice, TV was mounted on a stand in the top corner of the room, Bed was nice (have stayed in some places where I wanted to KILL myself after a few nights of sleeping on boards), DVD player, in room safe, and probally one of the best features was GOOD water pressure. I know a little weird but so many places have such bad water pressure, there is also a nice size fridge, hotpot, silverware, and plates. A little side note too if you have laundry ask the maid she takes them home and does them for you the next day she leaves them in your room with a little sticker with the price that you owe her. I believe I have 3 pants and about 6 shirts cleaned cost was around 150 baht. For the price you can not go wrong, I am nto sure what changes the new owners have made, but from my experience I would DEFINATTLY go back.
