Missing in Thailand

People always forward me crap, saying 'forward this and you'll be lucky'

etc, etc, and to be honest I never forward it... but this is not BS, it's a

heartfelt plea to forward this to everyone you know, even if they've never

heard of him, for the sake of helping friends and family discover the

whereabouts of someone they care about very dearly... SO, please read on,

and PLEASE forward this, its important.

 

For those of you who know him, Danny Hall has now been missing in Thailand

for 6 weeks, since the Feb 24th 2008 Full Moon Party. For those of you who

don't, please read on anyway, as I'm hoping 'viral marketing' and '6

degrees of separation' means that if this gets forwarded enough, sooner or

later it will hit someone on planet earth who knows something about this,

and we'll find out something that will lead to discovering what happened to

him, or even better, where he is.

 

The situation is very bleak... his room is still untouched, his stuff is

all there, and he was last seen drunk and making his way away from the

party at 4.30am. The Police and British Embassy are involved, but its not

looking at all good, and as there was a gap of a few weeks until the search

really got going, the trail is frustratingly cold... Anyone who knows the

island and party (I didn't until this happened, but now do), will know

that several murders occurred in the past during the

party itself. In short, everyone is worried, and we want to know where he

is, or what happened to him.

 

Anyway everyone... attached are two flyers. PLEASE circulate them, or

forward this email to anyone and everyone you know. It may mean 100,000

people get an email they delete immediately... but if it hits one person

who knows something, however small, hopefully it'll be worth the 3 minutes

this whole process takes each person.

update: 3 of Danny's friends have spend several days on the island meeting with police, bar owners, British Embassy etc to establish what has been done and what still needs to be followed up.

 

Their visit was very successful in being able to clear up several unanswered questions and leads that we have been looking into.

 

There is still a lot more to do and a lot of bureaucracy which could hold things up but useful contacts have been made and work is still going on behind the scenes to trace Danny.

 

We now know for sure what he was wearing (see photo of him playing guitar) when he left the Backyard bar at somepoint between 2pm and 5pm.

 

We still need to find the ginger haired guy he was talking to - we believe he is an English guy who now lives in Australia and who goes to full moon parties quite often - he may even be at the next one. (See description of him above).

I do hope that he is found... I hate to think what his family and friends are going through.

I read a poster about him, with his photo on it at the UK embassy in Bangkok when I was last there.. Let's hope this ginger haired "Friend" can be found, and that he knows something.

Sorry to hear this. Hope they find him. If anyone notices any of the people or knows emails for them that would help bring the threads together I would think or start. Pehaps they should provide some more details of for the people at that the party they know. It may help to pull some things together. For example the guy with the half body tatoo, likely someone will see or distinguish that if they now him. Just a few thoughts mate. Good luck and may heart goes out to the family
