Police hunts for robber of 7/11 stores

A gunman robbed two 7/Eleven stores in Bangkok late Tuesday night in a space of two hours, harming no staff and making off with Bt2,600.

 

 

Police from three precincts believed that the man also robbed another 7Eleven store on Monday night, after interviewing staff with the three stores who all identified the same suspect.

 

At 11.45 pm on Monday night, the man, in a pinstripe longsleeve shirt and a black cap, robbed Bt600 from a store near Suam Siam Soi 1 in Khan Na Yao district. He later robbed the second store near Jorrakhe Bua post office at 1.30 am, still in the same outfit, and took Bt2,000 and a pack of cigarettes.

 

The man robbed a store in Hua Mark police jurisdiction on Monday. He has been identified as the same person, with no criminal profile in police's record.

 

Police have released a sketch of the man's mugshot and obtained video footage from security cameras to further identify him and his blue Honda Wave motorcycle. An arrest warrant for the man has also been issued.

 

Bang Chan police said the suspect may possibly be not a native in the areas where he committed the crime. All three 7/Eleven stores are located in remote areas.

There not getting away with much, I'm surprised those stores dont have a lot more money in the cash register- but i guess to a local Thai $2,500 baht is a lot
