resetting an android

A question for the tech savvy BMs.

 

I'm about to give teelaks sister my S4 copy and want to be sure there is no trace of my history left on the device.

 

Will a factory reset wipe my history?

 

I read online that with some effort data can be recovered but I'm sure this is beyond their capability.

Data the android from Star Trek was reset by activating the on switch in the small of his back.  Hope this helps ; )

Yes .. 

it will wipe the phone .. 

just like brand new .. 

 

of course .. remove and replace extra memory sd card if you have one ..

(get a new one)

factory reset will not wipe this card .. 

 

and get a new SIM .. 

 

factory wipe will not clean any history your SIM stores .. (some call data and phone numbers are stored on the SIM)
