Super fast UK visa for my TG

JASONTHAI

Recommended Posts

I applied for my TG's visa on Thursday 10th July and on Monday 14th my TG got a phone call to come and collect her passport, now this must be a record for getting a visa :P but I did have evidence of our 6 year relationship plus we have a house and shop & our son is a British citizen so I was not expecting to get turned down, so now all I have to do is wait until September to bring them back for 3 months

Congrats Jason. :P

The most unfair thing about life is the way it ends. I mean, life is tough. It takes up a lot of your time. What do you get at the end of it?

A death. What's that, a bonus ? I think the life cycle is all backwards.

You should die first, get it out of the way. Then you live in an old age home. You get kicked out when you're too young, you get a gold watch, you go to work.

You work forty years until you're young enough to enjoy your retirement.

You do drugs, alcohol, you party, you get ready for high school. You go to grade school, you become a kid, you play, you have no responsibilities.

You become a little baby, you go back into the womb, you spend your last nine months floating... you finish off as an orgasm.

It's perfect !

Great news for you and your family Jason. The difference between you and a lot of applicants is that you got your shit together before you made the application. I'm happy for you. :D

No interviews with a Tourist Visa generally they just issue yes/no also you can get a 2/5/10 multi entry for your wife.

So what are the chances of my girl getting a Tourist Visa?, only know her since May, talk everyday on phone and email once a week, she's 33 has a passport but never been out of Thailand, she hopes to make visa for November when I get out there next. I'm guessing slim to none....

I've read the Visa link AZZZEY68 posted and have started her getting paperwork together, well her birth cert so far.

Oh she isn't work atm, but may got back to school, also has a 4 year old daughter.

Cheers,

Ensure if she has a daughter include her in the application as in naming her etc, as you may well need to prove sole responsibility at a later date. It does get quite complex later on if children are involved: a simple tourist visa then becomes a settlement visa then she may want to bring her daughter to the UK im always two stages ahead. Im onto your next application before you have even started your first one

I am still in shock, I applied for my GF's tourist visa at 1pm on Thursday did not leave there until just after 3 pm , now remember they have to send this off to the British Embassy for approval and the embassy was closed Sat & Sun, she got her visa back on Monday just after 10am, this is under 48 hours, now that is super quick, I applied for my son's British passport and this was done within 5 days also his Thai passport took 6 days & last of all his British Citizenship only took 6 weeks when they told me it could take up to 6 months, wow I am happy with the service the British Embassy gave me, why can't they be like this in the UK

Court backs EU citizens' spouses

The ruling confirms the residency rights of family members

The European Union's top court has ruled that non-EU nationals married to EU citizens are entitled to live in their spouse's country.

The court overruled a law in the Republic of Ireland, which grants residency only to those who have previously lived in an EU member state.

The European Court of Justice had studied the cases of four non-EU nationals married to Irish citizens.

It said the Irish refusal of residence permits contradicted an EU directive.

"The right of a national of a non-member country who is a family member of a Union citizen to accompany or join that citizen cannot be made conditional on prior lawful residence in another member state," the ruling said.

"The (EU) Directive applies to all Union citizens who move to or reside in a member state other than that of which they are a national, and to their family members who accompany them or join them in that member state."

The case against the Irish justice ministry was brought by four African men married to EU citizens resident in Ireland. The men had been refused residence permits.

The court said the host member state "is, however, entitled to impose penalties, in compliance with the Directive, for entry into and residence in its territory in breach of the national rules on immigration".

This may have been posted elsewhere it was on BBC web site last week so if you are married it may be easier now to get your Thai wife into uk -
