On there website it states that a standard room with king size bed and Queen size sofa is 999.00 baht per night, but when i made a booking reservation by e-mail they replied back with my room rate at 2,500 baht per night LOL, who do they think they are kidding Mr. Hitler......

Contact them again via e-mail mate i have stayed a few times and never had any bother. I am staying at the hotel now and still rate the place as the best i have stayed in for the money. If you are planning to stay for less than a month you will not get the monthly rate and you will possably get better value for money

I'm sure that's a mistake I have just checked out paid 999 baht with 7th night free contact them again looks like they quoted you for a suite they usually are very good replying to emails.

 

While I was there it happened to be my birthday on the 11th Kim the manager called me in the room to wish me happy birthday and to tell me there was a gift waiting for me in reception they found out from my passport it's this sort of customer care that makes me recommend them time and again.

I just did a complete search of www.patayabayresort.com, using Google sire search for every occurrence of the word "Sofa".

Nowhere (that I could find) is it stated that a standard room includes a sofa.

Deluxe rooms do include a leather sofa

The Mini Suites and the Presidential Suite include a "Queen Size Sofa".

The least expensive of the two is the mini suite at 2500 baht

Just back from Patts

Stayed in PBR and had good an bad experiences... As you can read on the board the rooms are OK and the noise is not a big issue if you take care and get room with a low number floor 5 room 00, 01 etc.

The bed linen had better days and the room has not been cleaned following hotel standards. I had a room mate for many days... the spider between the chair and the wall but he never complained about the guests I've had so that was OK for me

Take care about the cleaning personal if you have a girlfriend... I dont have and I like the daily change and exactly that was what every girl know... if the girl was pretty and at what time I leaved with the other girl... and, and, and... and that's not funny.

About the ID check I must say that I've seen myself that a guest has been refused because of the age of the girl on the other side one girl I know let her ID there and it was not her own it was the one from her sister. And the girl (real a girl) was 172cm and on the ID the height was about 162. The next day when she get the ID back I needed just one second to find this out but the reception desk did not take a notice... Food is OK and the prices are reliable.

The next time I will not choose PBR even if the location is good and the price is OK... To much yek, yek...
