I stayed there in June 2007 for 2 weeks, was my first time in Pattaya. They are very well priced (Deluxe is 800 baht), rooms are well furnished, air con, and the pub downstairs serves pretty decent local and western food. Location wise, its smack bang with all the go go bars in Soi 6, so it depends whether u want all that in your face. Only downside i can say is that its a bit of an effort to get to your room, with all those stairs while your carrying your bags.

 

And most importantly, its guest friendly.

 

So overall, its a safe and good place to stay for first timers.

I'll second this, nice big rooms, free wi-fi, car parking and the bar does good food, try the fish and chips if hungry, a huge plateful, for those who don't know exactly where Tropical Berts is, it is located on the corner of soi 6/1 and second road.

they all dont have a Pool ...no pool in patts is a nogo for me ...

Hello poof, i have eaten at this place several times and i never new it had rooms, a little bit to close to Soi 6 for my liking, Soi 6 is a place you need to escape from IMHO....
