Galaxy Suites

Hi guys

 

This is first proper new topic so I hope it is OK.

 

I have just booked my flight down to LOS, and was wondering if any of you have stayed in the Galaxy Suite on Soi Diamond. Last time I was in Patts I stayed on Soi 7 - was no problem.

 

My worry is that it could be a noisy area, being so close to all the "action".

 

Flyong in on 20th Oct. Can't wait!!

Hi derbytony, I will move your thread to the hotel section for searching purposes, the galaxy suites are nicely tucked away. I doubt noise would be a problem, i would say soi 7 is more noisy with all the open beer bars!

i have stopped ther location excellent off Walking Street does get noisey but depends what u call noise but staff are excellent it is above heavens above go go bar

Galaxy suite seemed nice last time I saw it mentioned on this board...I think I remeber free wifi was mentioned...Is it true? Good spacious room and free wifi are big selling points for me, it may compensate the "no swimming pool" drawback ;-)

I have stayed there many times. It is a great location, AC works great, free wifi, safe in room and everything else you need. It is quite noisy if you like to go to bed early.

Are the in room safe's big enough for a laptop with a 17" screen?

 

Are they BG Friendly (Potentially both kinds of BG's)?

 

I assume yes since they are above a GG Bar, but you know what they say about assumptions............
