Southern Thai food

Does anybody know of any decent southern thai restaurants in central/south pattaya?

 

I have found a few in bangkok, but even there they are hard to come across.

 

I really like the heat/spice, as well as the food of southern thai cuisine, hence this thread.

There's one on Third road, a southern Thai kao gaeng shop. It's on the west side about 300 meters from Central road between Central and South Pattaya roads. They are open 10 am to 4 pm, but the best time to go is in the morning as they are very popular (and good and cheap) and run out of food quickly. I'll scare up some google data on it soon.

There is a good one on 3rd rd past Pattaya Tai east side of the street at the corner of soi Aksorn. This is the soi that runs diagonal across 3rd rd and dumps into soi 17. Gaeng Phet there very good.

Another one that I like, even if it's just a simple food stand is at 3rd road as well.

Pattaya Klang, heading North, turn left at the traffic light where 7/11 is located (Soi 6, but 3rd RD ;) )

At the next left turn, just head straight, and there you are.

 

As I said very simple, but good in my opinion. 30-40 THB food. Lunch only

There is also a good and popular Southern Thai food stand on soi buckhow.

It is situated almost opposite the market towards Klang

There is a 7/11 on the opposite corner.

 

Tasty and cheap. A perfect combination
