The junta Thursday told foreign media that it needed to step into politic to prevent Thailand from being like Syria, Libya and Iraq citing the military has no political ambition to take over the country.

The Military does have a point, weither "the military has no political ambition to take over the country" remains to be seen. But the fighting between reds and yellows had to be stopped
