Buy her a new Samsung Galaxy Grand 2. Just bought the tgf one and it's a very good phone 5.25 in screen. Can get them 10-11,000.

For a lesson, you could get her a Galaxy Y. Or, for prevention, the S5 is supposed to be waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes.

Btw, my wife has a Note 10.1 I brought over from the US. I have never seen her even attempt to use the stylus, which is a big part of the cost in the Note line. If she just wants a big screen, a Grand or Mega might be a better option.
