Language Schools in BBK

Well I'm seriously considering taking a sabatical from work for 6 months and attending a language school in BBK. It probably wont be until the latter part of next year but it seems doable and the costs involved seem quite reasonable. Plus there are no visa issues as you can get a student study yearly visa.

 

The question is there are loads of schools available and I was just wondering if anyone had experienced any or if they had an recommendations?

 

I will be looking to attend a higher beginner/intermediate course and feel that this is probably the best experience in order to get my Thai to the next level. I think I will be proficient from a beginner perspective by the end of the year and feel I am 3/4's there already.

 

The small classes, exposure to using Thai 80-90% of the time continuously will be so beneficial I think. I wont be mongering and am budgeting around £1000 per month which I think should be sufficient. This is just a rough figure though and need to look into that in more detail.

 

Any advice would be great.

I want to take a 30 hour beginner course in BKK next month, which includes reading and writing.

 

There are a lot of choices in schools...any reccs or first hand experience? Thanks!
