Anybody got any info on what it would cost to buy and keep a small boat in Pattaya or one of the places to the east?

 

I love sea fishing and have owned a boat in the UK for many years

I would be also interested to know about any marinas in the area. Are marina fees as expensive as in the west?

There is one by me, I believe its 30,000 baht a month to keep your boat there! Or if you have a 4 million baht house next to the marina you get one parking space free and the water is included. :P

Just seems like no matter where you go, if you want to park your boat in a secure environment you have to pay through the nose. Too bad.
