Best chips in town

Big fan of chip pan homemade chips, really annoys me if a restaurant serves frozen chips. The only place I have found really nice chips so far is at the chow soy.

Anyone know anywhere else?

Interesting thread this.

Frankly, it's pretty hard to find good chips in UK.

There is a real science to it.

The type of potato, the type and temperature of the oil etc.

Some people fry twice or even 3 times to get the perfect product.

 

So not too surprising if Thai cooks find it difficult.

 

NB. For any US reader - we're talking "fries" here.

And soon will be moving to Soi Buakhao.
