Has anybody read or heard that the world cup in June/July will be televised live on free to air TV in Thailand ?

 

The latest is that 22 matches will be broadcast on free to air.  As with previous WCs, that doesn't mean things won't change before the big kick-off.

I thought there was something in last wednesday's Bangkok post about it saying all small businesses would be allowed to televise for free

 

Small street vendors ... i.e. you'll still be able to enjoy the footie while enjoying your roadside khao phad moo.

In America all games free on Spanish speaking tv stations (Telemundo)
