I'm on my lunch break in work and to pass away a little time I am trying to work out how many airlines I've flown with from the UK to BKK.

I have flown to Thailand 18 times

So here goes:

Thai airways - 2 times

Eva Air - 1 time

Finnair - 1 time

BA - 1 time

Quantas - 1 time

Turkish Airline - 1 time

Indonisian Airline - 1 time

Emerates - 6 times

Etihad - 3 times

KLM - 1 time

So I have flown with a total of 10 airlines.

Can anybody beat that

No I don't think anyone will beat that , some achievement .

You can be on the right track and still get hit by a train .

If you are bored tomorrow. How about a quick one line review on each?

Well........which one did you like the best and which one did you like the least? You flew on Emirates six times so would that be your favorite?

I personally like China Airlines and their inflight programs. The downside is that the seats and the leg room are lacking. EVA is good especially their economy deluxe.

I live just over 30 minutes away from Manchester airport and I would love to fly direct to Bkk from Manchester. Sad to say that there are no direct flights :Cry4:

I have been down to heathrow and Gatwick and flown with a number of airlines but it's a bit of a pain having to get down to the london airports and geting across from one terminal to the other.

Most airlines have been OK.

Liked Eva air, Thai airways, Quantas and BA who have flown out of London. Didnt like Indonesion airlines who flew direct from Gatwick. I thought they were a very basic no frills sort of airline.

Out of Manchester I have really liked Emeriates and Etihad. I'm flying with Etihad in July and I am a member of there FF programme. And I'm hoping to get a free flight with them next year.

Finnair and turkish are average. KLM were good but on the way out to LOS I was stuck in Amsterdam for one night because there was a problem with the plane.

I hope that one day there will be direct flights from Manchester to LOS

I flew air france last time from manchester. The main flight both ways was terrible, worst flight ever. Rude crew, crap food and the so called free bar was a joke. You had to grab a crew memeber b4 they took any notice and then they forgot.

The planes were 747's. I think they must have been the 1st 747's ever made, as they were so old with no leg room. I am only five feet seven and small build and I was cramped in the seats. NEVER AGAIN....

I Can, :ILoveU2: I have given them a rating from 1 - 4 for service, the best being 4

Thai Airways (1)

BA (2)

Quantas (2)

Turkish Airways (1)

Gulf Airways (2.5)

Indonisian Airways (which I think the name was Guranda or something like that ) (3) the only reason I gave them a 3 rating is that you could smoke on there planes a few years back :ILoveU2: whist other airlines stop doing this

Emerates Airways (4)

Etihad Airways (4)

KLM Airways (2)

Royal Jordanian Airways (1)

China Airways (2)

And soon to be Jet Airways which I am hoping will be good as they are a new airline

Emirates, Thai air, KLM, Austrian, Singapore and Lufthansa. Thai and Emirates the best.

I flew with them on my first trip but now they are banned in EU for safety reasons, I think due to when an aircraft crashed on landing in Yogyakarta.

Over the last 20 years I have tried most airlines to Thailand.

I like a direct flight if my money is A 1 ok.

Sure can save 100 or 150 pounds by stoping and changing air craft.

My flight and my favourite is Thai........................................

Cheers

Thai Tony.
