Now heres the question, does anyone know I can get a garden spade from?

Sorry, I only know of the shop down Suk below Soi 4 in BKK that sell gardening equipment, not in Patts. Good luck though, and take some pics as I want to see how big a 10 hour hole is.

What sort of soil are you digging into> Is it soft, clay like, moist etc etc? You need the right kind of shovel for the job. If its rocky you might need a pick as well.
