Hi all looking to book a hotel for 11 nights im staying in the Queen vic for my first 3 this will be my third trip to pats and my fav party areas are soi 8 Soi 6 and Walking Street but also have a liking for hell club champagne etc up that area in soi diana i am looking for a hotel with room safe balcony and a pool that is close to those areas i suppose if i was pressed my favs really are soi 8 and Walking Street where would u guys recommend thanks in advance for your help

Pattaya Bay Resort, Sunview Place or Golden Sea, all 3 have safe, balcony and pool and in good location.

Many good hotels to choose from, depending on budget, amenities, and action/quiet. Most basic recommendation: stay inside the Loop, meaning between 2nd road and Beach road and North and South Pattaya roads. From inside the loop you can get to any of your favorite places fast and you don't have to put your life on the line crossing 2nd road.

On Soi Buakwao, just down the road from Soi Diana and only a few mins the other way to Tukcom

Is that far away from areca and how does it compare with areca

No its just down the road from Areca, I've never stayed at the Areca so I cant compere personally, but the rooms at the GS, is big and nice.

Depending on your budget,Ive stayed in a few hotels in Soi Diana: Lk metropole,Bliss Mansions,Areca Lodge and lately the Lk Renaissance.Both the Lk's have small pools.Areca has 2 pools (1 big) The hotels are all good value imo. Hope this helps.....

yes - i found that after and its bringing up rates 1100 to 1300 bhat with 1200 for a pool view room. I've just been searching for some info and it was 800 in /Feb......for location 1200 is a bit steep imo

 

If I end up there I'll most likely bump into you as its about same time of trip

the deluxe room i believe is 1200 a night.

Do they hit you for the infamous ‘joiner fee’?

….do they allow more than one, just a thought

The Golden Sea is GF, Ive never brought 2 girls back so I cant answer if they charge for 2 ladies.

pattaya bay resort nice hotel no joiner fees and when u stay 6 nites the 7th is free. the other plus is they have their own tuk tuk that will take you and pick u up for free.

I stay at Welcome Plaza on 2nd rd.

It's getting a bit old and shabby and the breakfast is shit, but the price is reasonable, the pool is HUGE, and the location is GREAT - walk to walking St. in 5 mins. No charge for joiners if you make sure you book room for 2. Otherwise they will try to charge 300 - but if you talk to mgt. nicely when you arrive they will waive.
