Short change from bar staff.

 

Beware when given bar waiter a 1000 Baht note as I only got change from 500 Baht note.

 

I ask to see the manager and he done nothing.

 

Also when I returned 5 days later the same thing happened to a customer there also, which I witnessed.

 

 

By the way, when I was in there a guy was leaving with a girl and a supervisors stop him and ask him to pay a BF, can this be true

The change of 500 Baht rather than 1000 Baht can happen in many places. However I suspect that the chances of it happening in Tony's is a bit higher than similar establishments. I put the place on my banned list quite a while ago as it is a rip-off joint, IMO.

The place is a toilet with a capital T(ony's).

Maybe they should try paying there staff and this wouldnt happen, did i just say that out loud lol

well, your first mistake was going to Tonys.

 

that place doesnt appeal to me at all- expensive, dark and crappy staff that screws its customers.

I've been there a few times, and I can't say that its one of my favorites. I haven't been shortchanged or anything, but when the tab is 880 for three drinks (two bacardis, one vodka lippo), there isn't much change for them to steal from me.

We have over 40 security personel, only half of which are in uniform, i am aware that there are unscrupulous members of staff who will try to abuse the system, so i have inspectors working the floor to monitor staff, i will NOT tolerate dishonesty and anyone found pocketing money is apprehended and charged, without exception.

If anyone has ANY problems, please go to the front door or the main office ( located on the right hand side as you go in) and ask for the manager, if you do not get satisfaction, ask for "Nikki" my brother who will deal with your problem personally.

We strive to give good service to our customers and i WANT to hear about ANYTHING that upsets you.

That place is tourist trap that will overcharge for cover and drinks and with your observation and experience of employees cheating the customers out of their change due. Definitely on my banned list.

Ive never minded Tony's, it makes for a nice change. I dont mind paying higher prices for drinks if Im having a good time. I wouldnt go there each day of my trip, but occassional visits can be fun, especially with a good group of guys. Sucks that you got short changed, you should have taken it further then and there. Each to their own when it comes to tastes in venues, but I dig it.

Tony is a good person as far as I know. You can email him or report him directly at [email protected] if you get overcharge from the bar staff, remember their id numbers or have some proof for that. Tony has been in an entertainment business for a long time and I am sure that he is looking forward to a long run of his business and won't screw customers for the change money. It is just my opinion ... I visit Tony's Disco sometimes and have fun there..no problems at all.

Most of Tonys staff are from Burma so they are even lower paid and from far pooer country than Thailand so keep that in mind when you are in there too.
