Bang on mate... I just rang the Thai consulate in Hull because I wasn't sure myself.

I've just had to renew my passport because I fly out on the 25th July and my passport runsout on 23rd December. So I had less than 6 months on my passport.

Thats the beauty of a forum matey. I have sen countless people turned away and they all argue they have a valid passport i.e. 5 months left and they are here for 2 weeks.

Rules are rules whatever the rights and wrongs of it and it up to the individual to check these. Most travel companies, flight check in desks will advise you tho. Every flight booker I have ever used has notified me of this rule when I have booked but clealry a ot get through.
