Sin cities in which you can pursue vice and debauchery have existed throughout history -- from Rome’s glory days where you could follow up your bet on a gladiator fight with an orgy to Shanghai where you could float for days on drug and sex highs in opium dens.

 

In the 21st century, new sin cities from around the world have taken up the cause, and we’ve compiled them all on our top 10 list. The criteria for a locale to make our sin cities list is pretty simple: It has to offer a strong presence of gambling, sex, drinking, drugs, and/or partying.

 

Here are the top 10 sin cities that made the cut:

From “happy ending” massage parlors, brothels, go-go bars, and cabarets with transsexuals to ping-pong dancing theatrics, everything is on display at this beachside resort city. Sex is the No. 1 activity (it’s called “entertainment” in Thai), and if you can imagine any variation, you’ll probably find it on Walking Street, a hub in South Pattaya. While you’re walking, prostitutes will call out to you and some will likely try to pull you into their brothel for services. If you’re tired of sex shows, however, you can always sit down to watch guys beat each other to a pulp in a Thai boxing match hosted at the outdoor bars. True - "sin" can mean various things. Berlin is good for the "underground" club scene which might explain its inclusion.

(And one must remember than Yanks aren't necessarily the most globally traveled folks in the world.) With that said, the locales appear to be driven by multiple choice. So, whoever came up with the choices never went to a lot of these places.

 

Why Bahrain and not Dubai

Why Berlin and not Frankfurt (or places in Poland or Czech Republic)

Why are the Phillipines not included at all, (especially since US knows the PI)

Why isn't Buenos Aries included

Why not Sihanookville

Why are there two destinations in the US

Why isn't there a place down under listed (Sydney has p4p and slot machines)

Why isn't Bangkok listed

Where is San Jose, Costa Rica?

i'm from vegas and i dont think vegas should even be on the list

Yeah, Vegas sucks unless you've already got a hot chick, even then it's a bit overpriced. I have to say that the dining is great and there are some nice clubs but for a single man, it's pure shit. All the decent looking chicks are either with their boyfriend/husband or some rich old guy. The few that are single are from some small ass town and are too shy or stuck up to even let you talk to them. Oh, then there's the old/ugly skanks that work in the brothels and want $300 for 1 hour of borring sex. There are some good looking, young FL girls that wander around the casinos but want $3-400 for some mechanical sex and bolt after you blow your load in 20 min.

Tijuana, Mexico number 2? That place is a ghost town now. Someone isn't very well informed. This must be the persons own private list because there are allot of others that rank higher that aren't even on the list.
